I Pledge To:
- Learn and use the knowledge, skills and techniques of the chimney service profession at least to the minimum current accepted standards of the profession and to continually update my knowledge, skills and techniques as new information evolves within the industry.
- Represent myself and my company truthfully and fairly, and not engage in any deceptive statements or practices.
- Require my employess to practice the trade with regard to the Code of Ethics.
- Avoid using the guild logo in advertising in such a way as to exceed 10% of the total area of the advertisment.
- Avoid using untrue or deceptive statements concerning a competitor, their service or product.
- Avoid promoting my own business, separate group, or organization while serving as a representative of the Guild.
- Seek resolution of any grievance involving another person in the chimney-service industry through appropriate personal means, through the established procedures of the SCCSG, or through applicable law.
